Elda Bar Install
First of all, many thanks to John (JFO) for convincing me the Elda bar was the right bar to buy, pointing me to NickfromNY to find it and for delivering to SP for me. Thanks also to all of you for providing me with installation tips and suggestions.
It took about 24 hours to install it and I had an assistant (SIL) for about 12 of those. Cutting the first hole took a long time. Instead of measure twice and cut once, it was measure, cut, look and check about four times. The second hole was pretty quick. I bought a 22,000 RPM air powered grinder that cut fairly quickly, but I had to stop occasionally because the sparks were burning the crap out of wrists and ears.
I used the step by step pictorial for the Safety21 bar posted on S2KI for assistance with the interior parts and found the Hard Dog instructions on line. One thing missing in the HD instructions was the torque for the bolts. It said

I think you can slide the seat forward a click and recline more than the pic.
Looks good and happy to see it in another car that will hit the track!

Those pics were also before the BYS rails went in. I will go for a test cruise during lunch.
