i figured that much. there just arent many good beaters around here for less than $2,500 anyways

thats what i'm thinking. i've already got my set of summer wheels/tires. think i'm just gonna talk around, get some recommendations for winter snow tires.. and toss em on every winter.
do the germany change-over. October 15th & March 15th.

Absolutely. I have them and I drove into ~2 foot of snow back out and went on my way. No problems. Still a little slick on snow at speeds aroudn 35 mph. Please note: Doesn't help on ice.

Yes, but you get your nice S all nasty and salty and filthy.

Use your spare set of wheel for autocross tires, and the beater for snow....

(in an ideal world, of course!)

Summer Tires, Auto-X Tires & a Beater..
you must have be doing something that i'm defintly not, cause i defintly cant afford that one
