Default driver door

hey guys i am just wondering if there is anyone that can help me with my driver side door. i parked outside a walgreens in baltimore for 5 min and come out to only find my door had a hit and run done to it. i can not pull out the dents as my door is creased in certain spots. so what i am really asking is 1.) is it easier to put on a new door or 2.) get this one replaced....also if anyone can help me out replacing the door that would be helpfull

you can get it re-skinned but i cant imagine that is cheaper then taking it to a body shop.

I had a wooden chair unfold on my car right onto a crease recently on the door. It was removed after some working at it. I don't know how big your dents are but I didn't think mine would come off a crease that well. This is just for what it's worth I don't know how big your dents are though.

well if your not too far away... i have an awesome painter that does all my work on my car. at a VERY discount price.

At the same time, if its a hit n run, and if your insurance is cool, you'll only pay 200 or so, depending on your insurance, and the insurance would take care of the rest and the insurance shouldnt go up..

my parents had 3 hit n runs in a month because of their business.. no matter where they parked in the lot.. someone would hit it... they called the insurance all 3 times and they took care of it all 3 times no problem..

i got a hit n run.. only paid 200... viola! taken care of...

Does it look like this? If so, a shop will suggest re-skinning it. I didn't budge and paid the difference to have a complete door replace the damaged one. Also, if the safety bar is knicked at all, you'll want to replace it anyway. It would be compromised, structurally, at that point.
