when i got pulled for my invidia last year, i had a fujitsubo installed instead...when i went to court i told them i had had it 'repaired' and the judge dismissed it immediately, without question, without proof of anything...he did the same for 4-5 other cases that day by the same officer, but there were 2-3 that he did ask questions about and fine.

I'm not planning to argue it in court. The trooper was doing his job...and still was decent to me under the circumstances. I'm just glad it went the way it did and I have nothing moving to insurance. No need for that .

Good for you tho'. That was a nice break in court . I'm sure I could make the court date, argue/defend that I've updated the exhaust, etc. But, fact is, I've spent my fair share inside a court room. And been blessed in every instance. Frankly, considering my hand, I'll just cash in my chips for now .

Wow...glad you got a nice officer... I would've been pretty scared if I got pulled over too, especially because I'm on probation right now

As far as exhuasts go...I seem to like my comptech... Esp cuz I live in Fairfax County

Makes me reconsider getting an exhaust. I got the evil eye from a cop at an intersection this morning after he looked at my front bumper (absent front plate) and windshield (minus the county sticker). It scurred me into driving straight to the county building and taking care of 1 of the 2. You can guess which one.

The Banana is clean there! And I don't think the officer was looking to bust a teenager. Having talked to Dave on the phone tonight, I believe the officer was doing his job, but gave him a huge break. The original pull-over was for speeding & exhaust. He most likely would not have checked the front had the sticker not been attached to the registration.

Glad you got a break, Dave!

Yeah, as he was complimenting my car I kinda blew off the compliment with a, "Thanks, but I'm embarrassed that its sooo dirty right now..." That was where the "daily driver" discussion actually popped up, etc.

SKIP, YOU SHOULDA MAAAAAAAAAAADE ME WASH MY CAR SATURDAY!!!

Age and maturity does pay off over major car modifications - who'd a thunk

I have silencers, but they aren't installed. ;-)) But I may reconsider that issue now. Seems the cops are really after modified exhaust right now, on their radar screens. Must be people calling in complaining about all the loud ricers flying down the road.

Oh well, I guess it is time to grow up and face the music.

After I get caught.............

Maybe.................
