Hello fellow mid Atlantic S2k owners! So I'm a very new S2k owner that's wondering if there's any organized group drives. I did read through the tread (Mid-Alantic Best Driving Roads) and just wanted to check and see if there were any half day or day trips that a group does together? I'm interested in spirited driving, nothing reckless.

Congrats on your purchase. Im a new s2k owner as well and looking for the same. I'm out of Southern Maryland and willing to meet up anywhere in the DMV area.

The community has been without a community organizer for some time now. There were a few events earlier in the year which yielded little to no participation. I guess that deterred the current CO to stop making events. I don't know if the annual skyline event is still going to happen. Mike had planned that for the last four years but is no longer around.

If you guys want to start a gathering, feel free to pick out a spot to meet (restaurant, bar, local car event, etc.) and set up a time. Start a topic on this page to get the word out and post to the facebook group as well.

We should really get something going before winter hits, I too am very interested in an S2K group drive! There's an event at Summit Point in WV on November 8th that will hopefully yield a decent attendance.

Hello Brian. The best way to go with this is to lead by example. I used to participate and sometimes plan drives around the area, but time is of the essence these days. If you post a route with a set date, time, meet point, and a food place, drivers will post and join. That's how the skyline drive meet started.
