Default DIY oil change

Are there any low profile floor jacks that I can use for a DIY oil change? Also someone has recommended that I get those mini ramps and just use 2x4s to drive up the ramp. Any input would be great. Oh, I am lowered on Espelirs with CR shocks and have 18" Volks. Thanks.

Get a racing jack from Harbor freight. Unless you are slammed they should fit under the sides of the car.

Yes the racing jack will fit if your on Espliers. I know because I am. Honestly though you dont have to jack the car up a lot.

Buy a low profild oil pan, drive the car up onto some 2x10's. I dont like 2x4s because they are too narrow. Once the car is up there you could slide the pan under the motor and laying on your back loosen the nut. The filter can be removed from under the hood. Its a PITA but i like it better then crawling under the car a lot more.

Maybe you can roll up on some 2x4's and that should help lift your car enough to get a jack or lift under it

Can you use your OEM jack and get to the drain bolt and oil filter from the engine bay? It's a lot easier if you have an aftermarket intake (more open space above those components) but not so bad if you have an OEM intake. Just jack up the car high enough to get the drain pan under the car.

Use a floor jack normally.

Easier method; place a floor jack under the lower frame rail under the door and jack up one side. Place on jack stand and repeat.

Okay the racing jack sounds like a better idea. The reason I don't use a normal floor jack is because it will not fit under the side of the car. As for the manual OEM jack, it takes forever to manually turn the jack. Looks like I will get a racing jack. Thanks everyone!

I always used a harbor freight jack from the side then another at the front.

Then I learned the Skip method, jack up one side way up, use 2 jack stands, then the other side much faster just be careful.
