Im debating if i want to just alter the stock wheels, or get aftermarkets. Im fairly happy with the stock. I was thinking about getting my rims either color matched (silver metallic) or done in gunmetal. Has anyone done this to the stock wheels besides black. I tried to do a photoshop, but im not good at doing the color changes.

A few of us are thinking of powder coating our wheels. Just wait it out for a few more days to see what we could come up with.

Where is this powdercoating shop? I know you can send rims off to be dipped, but i didnt know there was a place down here. To send them and get them resurfaced is only about 60-80 a wheel... is this place signifantly more than that?

do you think powdercoating is the best way to do it?

Powdercoating is defntly the best way to do it in my opinion. dave & i are probably gonna run over to the shop sometime soon & get some price quotes.. do some talking and see if we can get a discount since there are a few of us that want to do it.

I think i might get a silver close to the color of the car... or gunmetal.. do they have a wide variety of colors to choose? Do you have any idea on turn around time?

I do not know "ALL" of the information as of just yet... i am planning to go up there soon to speak with the salesman to get a bunch of info (colors available, turn around time, pricing info, all details) and then i will be making a post for individuals who can PROMISE into this. that way i can take info to them and see what we can do about a group thing.

please look for a post in next couple of weeks
