ts80 - I find your rant/venting amusing, really . I've been here 5 years now but I adjusted very quickly I guess because I've been to many different places.

I'm glad to hear that you are adjusting and begining to understand the way of leaving here. In no time you will start talking like Virginians/DCians .

I could just imagine if you would go to my home town in Guam. We have to main highways around the Island, the main road and the back road. Max speed limit all around is 35 MPH, it takes 2 hours to drive around the Island doing maximum speed limit .

Welcome aboard . I can assure you, you will feel at home very quickly once you get to know most of us .

Haha, I thought I was the only person to complain about the way people walk.

In my opinion, to put it nicely, people from around here are just different from people in New York. I grew up in this area and I'm still not used to the driving. Actually, I'm still not used to the people. MD/DC/VA has a lot of small regions where people are very different depending on the environment and income level.

At least his comments stopped at DC/VA cuz if he had the testicular fortitude to talk about PG COUNTY, he woulda been on a milk carton next week
