Default Dang It! It Happened Again!!!

i don't know why, but it happened again. I get this big dent in my windshield from a rock that came at me from the opposite side of the highway.

It was about driver side part of the windshield, and head level. I am glad the glass didn't shatter, cause i would have died or something.

This is twice. First time happened three months after i got my first one, this time, it only took 48 days. sucks.....

Dude, I'm sorry to hear that. Can your windshield be repaired or do you have to get a new one??

i think progressive is going to just fix it. it is not that widespread. but if it gets worse, i think they can replace it.. .but that sucks.. cause THIS IS A NEW WINDSHIELD!!!!!!!!!!

usually if the dent is smaller than a quarter, insurance will cover it for free.

well, the glass shop came and said that the hole is bigger than a quarter, and smack dab in the middle of my line of sight.. so no repair.. i have to get it replaced... but since i can still see out of it.. i am going to keep it until the freakn thing cracks all the way across my windshield....

anyone know how to use one of those self repair kits?

I wouldn't recommend repairing it. I had a nick in my windshield repaired a few weeks ago but it was out of my line of site. As small as it is (about the size of a pencil eraser), it would still be distracting if it were in my vision. You should fork out the dough to replace it bud.
