I've replaced mine. You don't need that special torx bit. You just need a small flat-headed screwdriver that will fit into the screw head. A little more difficult to work, but it does work.

you could do that too if he works for him and chris (yellowdragon) but I used that tork bit. it's up to you, ur call

Yeah, the head on the screw for the HID cover has enough room to fit a small flathead screwdriver in there beside the nub and half-ass it, or you can get one of these snazzy numbers and full-ass it:
