Andrew, you are right, numbers were off.

they did the 4 wheel drive cars first, then adjusted the dyno. i was the first 2 wheel drive. was expecting to get in the 270-275 range with the spoon header, dan called me over after 2d pull and pointed at 308hp, WAY high. he checked settings, thought it was correct, 3rd pull was 307, so he thought it was right.

andrew was up next, he should have pulled in the 190 range for a stock s2k on the mustang. with both of our numbers high, Dan looked at settings again and found the no load torque numbers were about 25lbs high. he had to get at the rollers again and adjust it. Pete pulled later in the session and got just over 300, about 10hp gain with his new clutch setup, which looks valid.

they had way too many people there to let me do another run at the end to get a valid muden-spoon header comparison number, so i will be back there again sometime next week.

Anyways, here is my dyno chart and I must say I am impressed. I pulled 211 but I think the dyno might not be calibrated correctly.
To everyone that I met there, awesome cars! I really enjoyed myself. Just not the wait.....

Andrew-

The dyno was recalibrated after your car. Since the miscalibration only effected your car and Keith's, I would strongly recommend that you call them and ask for another session to get some solid numbers.

Some numbers to note:

4 cylinder FI: Mitsubishi Galant - 417 HP
6 cylinder FI: Toyota Supra - 633 HP

1RandyC - 344 HP
Me - 303 HP (got a ways to go to catch Randy )

It was a great time. There were over 50 cars dyno'd and it ran until almost 9 at night.

Watch for the Curry's clash this upcoming summer. BlackS2000Turbo is going to be there to unseat the Galant

Hopefully I will be able to attend... the whole session! Summers are usually less busy for me.

Yellow Streak- Someone told me last night that '02's actually, on average, pull about 5-10 hp more than '00's & '01's. Any truth to this?

In our datalogging on the dyno, we have found that 02s run more timing than 00/01s.
