Default Considering AP1 Rebuild...Recommendations?

Hi folks! I think my title says it all. Looking to rebuild my AP1. Need references for quality work [completed the first time! ]

I'd probably take it down to Cory. Are you looking to do a factory rebuild or just get a whole new engine? I'm glad to see you're keeping it and just going for a refresh!

Someone else just had a block rebuilt after hydrolocking, I think. Will try to dig up the thread.

Oleg, it's a 2000 ap1 with 240000+ miles. I think that's why it's burning some oil. Dave just goes to show how awesome this car is and how much life you can get out of it.

CNC Engine Dynamics is located in Northern VA ....they do everything. 1 stop shop for machining and assembling

I know he has lot's of miles
It's just that you can burn oil for many reasons....PCV, rings, valve seals....depending on what it is, he might not need to tear the engine down. In a matter of fact, you'd only need to tear it down if the rings leak. Plus, it's easy to diagnose.
