Cold weather and our tires
Just a reminder to everyone and a heads up to the new owners - If you have stock tires or any kind of performance tire on your S, they don't stick as well when the temps get below 50. I was reminded of this on my way home from work. Fortunately, I didn't spin out.
So drive careful and watch turns and acceleration from a stop until you drive a bit to get some heat in the tires.

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking about that this evening. I couldn't drive very fast right away because I was thinking I needed to let the tires warm up first. However I have to say that the Goodyear Eagle F1's still stick quite nicely, even in this weather.

This is one of those things every S owner should know before you buy the car, IMO.
Not letting the tires warm up before trow it in a corner is what people tend to forget.

Last year I discovered the "squirrlyness" of the S2K without warm tires the hard way. It was my first cold weather period with the car, and I took it on an off ramp at what should have been a fine speed. Rear end stepped out, and my car fishtailed and came to rest on the side of the road in the grass. Scared the $hit out of me... but it was a nice lesson learned.
Good reminder.
