Default clutch pedal

hi, i tried doing search on this topic, but didn't find anything too helpful...maybe i didn't run the right searches or im just describing the issue wrong.

anyway, i get this click sound every time i step onto the clutch pedal right around 1/4-1/2 way down. it does it while driving or stopped in neutral...just anytime i step on it really.

i seem to notice it more on hot days after longer than normal driving.

this issue comes and goes.

any ideas?

thanks ahead of time.

as far as i can tell...it's coming from the actual pedal, but im nowhere near a mechanic, so i really don't know for sure.

I noticed this too. With the top up and windows up, it sounds like it is coming from inside, but muffled, but when I put my top down it definitely sounds like it is coming from under the car. The click seems to happen when the gear is engaging. I don't know jack about transmissions. Anyone have any ideas?

i heard a sound coming from mine...my clutch was extremely stiff and the pedal feel was inconsistent as well though...turned out to be a bad master cylinder. the problem went away after i changed it.

hmm...mine is a 2007 w/ 10k miles though, so i doubt its that, but u never know.

i have no problem taking it into honda since its still under warrany, but this click doesn't happen all the time...it comes and goes, so they'll just turn me away prolly

sigh...

I had this on my AP1 for a bit... And every once in a while I noticed it on my 06. I've really never worried about it.

Um if you look at the clutch pedal assy there is a switch (that clicks) and a rod that activates it, you can adjust it there if you wish.
