Clear corner is not legal in VA. Of course unless it comes out of the factory like that.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter as long as the bulbs are amber and the signals show up as amber?

Reallyyy??

The only reason I said what I said is because I knew someone who got pulled over for clear turn signals and he had amber bulbs in but he still got a ticket...

Not sure about VA, but I know in MD they're legal as long as there is an amber bulb. A mechanic told me that during a state inspection.

Not this again. It is illegal to modify your car in anyway if it didn't come from the factory that way But this onlyy matters if the cop knows what he's doing or he wants to be an ass. I know my husband is an officer

In Maryland, the amber bulbs behind clear corners satisfy the "turn signal" section of the statute. However, they fail the "reflector" section since the clear lenses do not reflect amber when a light source shines on them from the side. Maryland requires amber side reflectors at the front and red side reflectors at the rear of a car.

That is one smart man. ^^^

Anywho, it is illegal in both states homies. Take the ticket and enjoy it. It's the price we pay to look good on the road.
