CHEAP 2 -Day Track Event at Watkins Glen !$250!
Hey guys!
Just want to give heads up for the cheapest I ever seen 2 days event at Watkins Glen with one of the best groups to run DE with. RTR PCA will have an event on Mon-Tue, May 7-8th. And it is only $250!!!! I wish I can do it myself, but I can't take time off for it. Several of the members here and my track friends are already signed up for event - so there will be a good representation for S2Ks. Most importantly RTR PCA people are very welcoming for non-Porsche drivers and love our cars! Not to mention that Watkins Glen is one of the best tracks on east coast!
In order to do the event you will need to be able to pass broomstick test with stock rollover protection or have a hardtop or aftermarket roll-bar in the car.
Also you will need to pass a pre-track tech inspection according to guidelines described here (and it is not a difficult task):

Please let me know if you have any questions. I have been running with RTR PCA for the third season and basically build my track schedule around their events!

Thanks for the heads up, Aleksey!
Don't think I'll be able to make this, though. :/ How have you been?

I've always wanted to go there. Maybe in the near future.

I need to do a glen track day. My parents live ~45 minutes from the track. In the past I used the excuse that watkins was pricey, but this is a good deal. Unfortunately the rx7 won't be ready by then. Just getting ready to order the necessary oil pressure/cooling parts.
