Default Charlestown WV Ruby Tuesday & Slots Meet

Want to see who's interested in getting together for lunch. Charlestown is about 5 miles into West Virginia across the Harper's Ferry bridge less than an hour from Baltimore and DC. The Ruby Tuesday is right off Highway 9/340 on Charlestown's main street--Washington Street. I'm thinking 4:30pm Saturday January 23rd.

Here's more info and a map:
http://www.takeouttonight.com/menus/west%2...6680/index.html

The Ruby Tuesday is on the southwest corner of the highway 9 & 340 intersection.

From Baltimore take 70 west to Frederick then 340 to Charlestown. 340 becomes Washington Street.

From DC take 270 to Frederick then 340 to Charlestown. 340 becomes Washington Street.

From Leesburg take 7 north to 9 north to Charlestown (9 is a cool little twisty thing) left (west) on Washington Street (340).

Brenda and I should both be there. I can't promise we'll be in a top down S2000 though.

Who's in?

I dunno... It is kind of far for me.

In all honesty, though... I do not think I will be able to make it. I am having hernia surgery the day before. Even if all goes well, I will probably still be on my back.

If I am up and around, I'll be there but I can't promise that at this point.

I am pretty sure I don't have anything going on. Interested in making an evening of it and doing a little horse betting afterward?

I've got to fly Sunday so I can't play the ponies late but the track & casino are within a rock throw (official West Virginia distance measurement of approximately 1/4 mile) of Ruby Tuesday's.

Jeff,

Sorry to hear about the hernia. I seriously doubt you'll be up for lifting a pint Saturday.

I understand. I've been a few times and it's a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Maybe some other folks can make it.

Hernia? I hardly knew her!

[drum roll]

J/K Hope you recover quickly.

Out of morbid curiosity, can you feel the hernia with your fingertips if you palpate it?

Oh... I can tell it is there. I self-diagnosed before I went to the doc. He was all like, "Oh, yea. That's what that is, my friend!" He actually found a little on on the other side, too. *sigh*

Can't do 1300(working), but would be interested in trying to get out that way later.
