I was able to get a sidekick yesterday and activate all the data stuff for it. Last night i went to VA beach to pick up some wheels and played with it the whole time on the 4 hours ride back. I'd like to say that I never knew this thing was so cool. I have been selling them for like 5 months now and never had a chance to actually play with one.

If you get a chance, try it out.
They are cool - I had the Hiptop with Suncom, but the Sidekick and the Hiptop don't even compare to the Pocket PC's - it is just like having a miniature laptop

Actually, I am really impressed with the battery life

I'm easily putting up to 100 minutes a day on it and it can go 2 days without needing a charge. There is a website called handango.com where you can purchase applications for Pocket PC's and I bought a few things to make it that much better

The size isn't that bothersome either. This phone is pretty complicated and during the first week of having it I got on a first name basis with tech support

Right now I give it the

verizon service, voice quality, reception is awesome. I used to have verizon cellular service and currently have their unlimited highspeed broadband service that gives me 400kbps to 1mbps internet access anywhere on my laptop.

what sucks about verizon is that their phone technology is like 2 years behind the rest of the GSM carriers and too damn bulky.

As soon as I find a decent verizon phone i'm switching from cingular!

i agree that verizon is slow in getting out "cool" phones but at what cost? all these other carriers rush out phones that people crave, the neat small phones, the flashy gagets, but the phones suck. or most do. biggest example. i have been hearing terrible stories regarding the Motorola RAZOR phones. they look great, and i was jealous.. but more and more people have been saying what a crappy phone it is.

i don't know if it is because the service they have their phones on sucks, or the phones suck.. but something sure did...

i sell to businesses for the most part, and i bring in a bag of 20+ phones for them to see, and you know what? they all say, why can't you just show us 5 and tell us which one is the best. 5 years ago, people wanted to know.. why can't verizon have more than 5 phones... sheesh.. can't satisfy everyone..

How is Verizon if I travel i.e. when I go to Texas? Also, I have a really good plan with Suncom. I heard Cingular has free mobile to mobile (within the same network) calling, what about you all?
