wow dave.. you sure do have time to go to the website and get those nice pretty links!!! much appreciated.

yes, Verizon and Cingular both have the mobile to mobile, and yes, cingular has more customers, but you have to know who those customers are. ATT/Cingular was pretty big out in the west, so most of the people here on the east cost, have verizon wireless.

Look on the map and you will see the coveage map and when you are in those areas, you can call anyone and it will go towards your minutes. if you call someone who is within that area, and they have verizon, the call is free.

Me? Probably the Motorola V710...unless dkhl finds a reason to talk me out of it. Basically, I *think* I think I want bluetooth feature in a phone because I'd like to enjoy hands-free in-car calls. I'm not really about the "Vulcan earpiece" that these phones use, but being able to drive/talk/hear would be very nice. And as I understand it, the V710 is one of the few bluetooth compatible phones Verizon offers. I don't need all the whistles and bells of a mini-PC like Pointy has need for. I need to talk to folks. I don't text message much. I check my e-mails at work/home fine...don't need that with a phone... yada, yada. Really just need/want a phone that provides the technology for uncomplicated hands-free talking while in car. Rest of it just needs to be a "cell phone" for cell phone's sake.

I do too after having reviewed all Verizon's products . Kinda made it an idiot-proof decision...something I'm always in dire need of .

I had wanted that one as well but when I went to see it I really didn't like the way it lookked and it was bigger than the Samsung I decided to go with. Plus at that time it was $150 more. I still can go return mine but I don't feel like it at this point. I'm very happy with my Samsung
