The index system's confusing , and I don't pay attention to it. I like Pete's idea of three classes (stock, modified and unlimited) with points added for R comps. I don't know if that's what CDC wants to do though. I just enjoy coming out and trying to get the best time that I can. That's always fun.
i feel the same way.

my goal at each event is to stay out of last 10 positions based on purely time im a noob, i dont expect to be anywhere near the top. i compare my progress by my overall position using the raw times. i dont really care who has what, and who is first in the standings. all i want to know is how do i eventually get up there with the big boys. to me thats what makes it fun. not having an index that is skewed and pointless. having my name up top because of my index doesnt do much for me. Autox isnt meant to make you feel better about yourself even though you suck at it.

I personally dont care which index is used, but i must say it would make sense for something that shows the true drivers on top.

Already started, I dropped in a Testpipe. Jeff, you would approve, it is a lot louder now and it really adds a frenzied, mechanical type of snarl to the exhaust note.
Tein SRC's too?

Not sure yet. Your car felt freaking great when I rode in it. Tein SRC, KWV3 and JRZ are on my list.

No offense but being on the top of the CDC Index means basically nothing. It certainly not your faults for being confused about the issue, the CDC Index is confusing and not really valid.

To give you an idea, we have two people both with stock S2000. Driver A beats driver B 's raw time by around two seconds; but the CDC Index gives Driver B an Index score that is about 2 seconds better than driver A. Make any sense?
