CDC AutoX #9 Aug 19th at Bowie Stadium!
Bowie Baysox Stadium, Bowie, MD is the location of our next autocross event, on SATURDAY August 19th.
Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 and will promptly close at 8:45 to try to accomodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45. So if you arrive at 8:00 you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute. If you don't get teched and registered by 8:45, you will lose your morning runs.
The event fee is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
There is a freeze on membership unless already arranged prior to March 25th.
Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time. Open reservations for non-members for this event begins August 11th. To reserve a spot, e-mail Ed Chan your

PS. We plan to have our new canvas hats and polo shirts for sale. The hats are khaki, 100% cotton with a brass adjustable clasp in the back. The shirts are white, also 100% cotton. The cost for the hats are $18 and the shirts are $28.

Since the last event at bowie had a less than ideal course layout, CDC organizers met last week and spent a lot of time going over course layout with the designer.
This weekends course will be fast, long and open.

There are some Lobster pounds right near the Airport as I remember..might even be within walking distance from the airport.
Actually I think they charge DC prices for Lobster during the summer season.
