CDC AutoX #5 in Frederick, MD this Saturday!
SATURDAY June 25th at Harry Grove Stadium, Frederick MD is our next autocross event.
Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 and will promptly close at 8:40 to try to accommodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:40. So if you arrive at 8:00 you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute. If you don't get teched or registered by 8:40, you will lose your morning runs.
We tried the split heat on the last autocross and everyone seemed to like it. So we will continue the split shift working scheme. When each heat will grids on the lot, the heat will be split in half. Half the heat will run while the other half works the course. The participants will then switch after the 3 runs are completed. After all participants in the heat have run, the the next heat will grid.
The event fee is $20 for members and $30 for non-members at this event. So if you plan to attend, e-mail me your name(s), make, model, year and color of your vehicle.
We currently have a freeze on membership. Members can renew their membership, along with those already committed to join but could not attend the June 11th event.
Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time. Open reservations for non-members for this event begins June 17th. To reserve a spot, PM me your:

along with the event(s) you plan to attend.
If you are a member and want to participate, I suggest that you reserve your spot as soon as possible.

We also have some magnetic sheets that can be printed on an ink jet printer. These will be available for $5. I'm not sure if I'll have them in time for the next autocross. However, if you want a magnetic sign from us, let me know. If you don't tell me, I will assume the shoe polish or your own numbers will be used.

-PS for those that attended the June 11th autocross at Freedom HS, I would love to hear your opinion on the pros and cons of that event, if we should hold more events there, if we should use the lot on a limited amount, or if we should never use that lot again. Your feedback will be used to determine how often, if any, we use Freedom HS.
-As a side note, the next day (Sunday June 26th) is British Car Day in nearby Buckeystown, MD. This is the largest British Car show in the country. The Capital Triumph Register (your sponsoring club) will have free food and drink. Just show your CTR membership card. For more information see:

Pete, already contacted Ed and told him I would not be attending as it is a bit of a drive from Orlando. See ya at the next one.
Suntan lotion.
Will miss your drifting antics. I'm still recovering from two days at VIR (sore neck and back).

Tubedriver,
I'm assuming you were at VIR with your S, what are their rules regarding a roll bar or cage. If you have either of these who makes it? I'm dying to get down there and drive but they need some kind of device from what i understand.
