Turns out I am not available early Sat. AM. maybe the following for me, too.

 

wow i live like 10 minutes from there. we used to chill in that same parking lot late at night. never knew this was there in the mornings. ill have to check this out sometime

 

Tomorrow may not work for me, but I plan to be there next Sat. There should be parking in the lot away from the show cars. It seems as many as 60 cars show up, though, so the lot fills up pretty fast. Maybe we could arrange to meet somewhere near the lot and make a grand entrance, but not sure exactly where that would be. And it would have to be about 6:30 am. The coffee place (Katie's) opens at 7.

 

So, it's well known Alex Ovechkin owns an SL65 Black.. and this one has a necklace of sort hanging from the rear view with a #8 pendant.



Unless its another AMG Mercedes interior and not the Black... some of the pics are out of order so it's hard to tell.

 

Oh la la I didn't notice that. It'd be really cool to run into a random celebrity while there!

I'm not going tomorrow, but might make it next week depending on Mid-A attendance. I need some friendly motivation to get my butt out of bed at 6am on a saturday. It's not going to happen on my own motivation!

Yesterday, when I showed this to my coworker I was like... "I can't imagine there being two of these cars in the area. I wonder if it's his?" Kudos to him for noticing the pendant today.

Yea, sometimes he shows up to the Verizon Center out front and someone else parks for him. Or, it's out front waiting for him after a game, etc. (Rare, though.)
