should i get the OEM style CF hood or ones with vents?

Carlo, after seeing Skip's hood, I think that would look awesome on your GPW, of course it isn't CF, but I think the style is fantastic. Just my .01cents

If I were going to get a CF hood, I would get the Amuse.

what are the benefits of having a hood that is vented and non-vented?

^ the answer to the above is what im looking for you goof balls ! this is for a fellow member. im already going to get the amuse style btw

I answered the question of differences between vented and non vented in your other thread Carlo. Non-vented (or OEM Style) is only good if:

a. you don't like the look of vents or
b. you are trying to protect some sparkling goodies under the hood like (w1ngman)

A vented hood's purpose is to aid in cooling. The new J's Type-V and Mugen Carbon Hoods are designed to help stop engine bog and clear certain intakes

With the heat here...vented, no question about it. Don't get the TS. Get the J's, Mugen, Amuse.

vented hoods look ricey im my opinion.thats jsut my .02 i liek the oem style better .fashion over function

Fashion over function is 100% correct. CF hoods aren't for everyone, but I tell you that the car runs a lot better in the summer with the vented hood.
