We just went mountain biking a couple of weeks ago and he kicked my butt climbing up this big hill... I promised him I would get in shape this winter and out ride him next Spring.

Though my time spent with Cale was mostly around the track, like all of us, I remember the same things. He was always a great guy to be around.
My last vivid memory of Cale was chasing him around Summit Point Main - we came out of turn 10, received the checkered flag, and I looked over to see a big thumbs up from him as we cruised side by side down the front straight. You could see the big grin.
Words are short when you're choked up over such a loss.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cale at an auto cross soon after we both started ownership of S2000's. He was the first person I met with an S2000 outside of any organized function. He was the most approachable guy and genuinely a wonderful person.
I have to thank this community for introducing me to great people like Cale and it is sad to see such an outstanding person leave us. He was a model member of this community and truly a great friend to all that knew him. He was more than willing to reach out to any other members, lend a hand when needed and be the guy with a great big smile when you saw him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Cale, his family and friends.
