Newport News isn't that far away from Suffolk.....maybe a 30 minute drive.

If you're just looking for things to do in Suffolk: Suffolk has Virginia's best peanuts, you can go hunting, fishing, drop your 4x4 into a mud hole, get drunk in the corn fields, admire sheep, marry your sister.....I think you get it

Just kidding.....Suffolk is growing up quick and although I haven't been out there in years, I hear it is really developing. But the things Hampton Roads (Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Cheasapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach) is famous for are in Williamsburg, Hampton, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.

Suffolk is sh*thole. You should come to Norfolk and meet us out. There are some REALLY good resturants, bars, Pubs.

 

But at Norfolk's waterside there are nice places to visit and its close to Suffolk.
