Just went out to play with the white stuff and took some pictures. I walked to the road for a look and saw a few cars got stuck. Tried to help a guy with an accord, but his tires didn't provide much traction.

My poor S2K. I can barely see her. At least, I covered her with a car cover.

Here is a picture of similar angle and the same parking spot a few months ago for comparation.

I'm stuck in Silver Spring, MD. Came for dinner last night and ended spending the night. Now, I have to spend another night or two. No compliants except I wish I brought some of my clothes and such.
Glad I drove my p/u, although it's stuck in about a foot of snow, at least it's not my S. She's in the garage.

Yep, you might be there for awhile...it is getting nastier out. Normally I have a view for miles, but today I can't see anything beyond the Iwoa Jima across Route 50. A few crazy people are still driving, but very few...I've been watching people get stuck all day.

I have an 86 Honda Civic..... she takes a banging and keeps on running. All she requires is OIL..... believe seals are gone, but hey it is a backup car. $4 a month for oil and she is a true Timex, keeps on ticking.

i was in richmond until about noon today, when i decided i should head back to charlottesville before things got too bad. so, i managed to break the ice and get into my car (my accord, not my S). was on I-64 for most of the drive, and it was alright....but i swear that no snowplows have been out in charlottesville. our in-town roads are sad. i had no trouble though until i tried to turn into my driveway....i got stuck. we have gobs and gobs of sleet. be careful out there everyone.
