Black Nugget, if Capt Kirk had said what you said there really wouldn't be an issue at all. I regret it went so far though.

Statistics wise, I wasn't talking about mods, I was talking specifically about FI. How many people are FI? I said 1 in 1000. The only mod that needs special plugs, which CaptK and I agree on (I think).

As for the plugs, sure if you want to change them every year at $2 a pop then that's great. I'd rather spend the $17 and leave them in there 3 years. It's just personal preference.

DO YOU NOT SEE THAT I SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT WHAT BLACK NUGGET SAID IS WHAT I WAS SAYING!?!??

And do you still not understand the simple fact that your little "1 in 1000" statistic of FI s2000 is WRONG!?!?!? WE ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU THAT THE PERCENTAGE OF BOOSTED S2000s IS GREATER THAN 0.1% ESPECIALLY IN OUR AREA

As far as your statement of choosing plugs that just do the job but last longer rather than BETTER plugs that last a shorter period of time...you are right, it is personal preference. You choose the former and I the latter... so at least we can put one argument aside.

Anyone ever notice that Inline Pro uses NGK 3330's on boosted cars? What's the primary difference between these and the other plugs you've discussed?

3330? Is that the same thing as the BCPR7ES?

Ok cool, yea thats what I have too. Basically the different between the plugs that are being discussed in this thread and the NGKs we are using is that its a colder heat range than a stock plug.

You should switch to a colder heat range when going FI since the pressures and temps in the motor generally can get higher than an NA motor. With the smaller gap and colder heat range you make sure that you are getting optimal spark and no potential pre-ignition/detonation in the newer and harsher (compared to the NA setup) conditions in the motor.

Just a comment, there have been reports of the the denso iridiums dropping their tips into the engines and killing the motors. Report in the technical section here on 's2ki confirmed by either Billman or Slow2k (I don't remember which).

I'm only going to use OEM.
i heard this too. i cant remember which denso plug it was, but there were a couple threads about this. apparently part of the plug would break off into the engine and cause some serious damage
