Best Place for tire change near Bethesda
Hi everyone,
Anybody know a good place near Bethesda to have tires changed? I used Bethesda Import Specialist last time when I put on my winter tires since they were recommended by Tire Rack (where I bought the tires).
I was not happy with the work they performed. First, one of the rear wheels was put on the front. Then, after telling them that there were different sized wheels on the front and back, they got the wheels right but put the tires on the wrong wheels! After telling them it was still wrong and they fixed the problem, I had visions of losing control at high speed on the beltway by the Mormon Temple. It also ended up taking close to 4 hours to have the tires changed while I waited.
While they did eventually get the tires on correctly and were nice about it all, I think I want to find a place with a better grasp of how tires and rims go together. I had my S02s put back on by the dealer and they did a good job but I think a smaller shop could do as well for less.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Greg

Gregg has a place in Silver Spring that he highly recommends. I'm sure he'll chime in.
I too have been dissappointed with a Tire Rack recommended installer. I suppose anyone who pays can be listed or something.
