It's much more than 10mm. I would be going from the stock 215/45/17 to 235/40/17. Also, the stock 215 is much narrower than the standard 215.

Are you talking about this Wednesday or next? I might be able to swing by as its not far at all from me.
I've got a dilemma facing me......
I have to take a look at my tires but I might be in need of new rubber. If I am in need of new rubber it seems a waste to get street rubber and then get a few events in and find that I want R comps next spring. On the other hand I'm not sure if a newbie should be starting out on R's. Whatcha think Skip, am I just going to have to suck it up and "waste" the money on new rubber now until I get my feet wet enough for Rs?
