I've said this before and I'll say it again:

OEM Cert. Warranties are a JOKE!

The certification warranty is a marketing scheme - not a protection package. For the most part they're glorified power train warranties that only go beyond the call of duty if you are a long time customer of the manufacturer - yes, they do check their records - they also check your *service history through the dealer* too.

I use "manufacturer" and not "Honda" because they're all like this. Just don't buy the certified warranty if you have a choice - the good one is the aftermarket warranty: they might cost a little more, but they typically cover more than your original bumper to bumper on a new car! I can help out on one of these if anyone needs it.

Awesome. I'm glad we covered that diagnostic fee. I watched the tech work on your car today. He replaced the fan switch yesterday. We sat in it for a solid 15-20 mins while the car was at idle while giving it a little load. Using a scan tool, we read the ECT temps and they were within a safe range. When the temps went up, the high speed fan kicked right in and the temps immediately started dropping. All seems well.
Thanks for complimenting Hendrick Honda.

infinity_racer, check your PM's.

Holy. Wow. Damn.
I hate intermittent problems. Can you fully describe the issue with the best detail possible?
