Default AVIC-D1 Dash install

I have an AVIC-D1 that was installed in my civic. Well i sold the civic and now have an 04 s2000. I was wondering if there is any place that would do such an install for a reasonable price. If anyone knows of a place that does this kind of work, i'd be interested in finding out how much it would run. If its too expensive, I am willing to part out with the D1 if anyone is interested. Thanks

Well i've seen some people put screens in there dash. So this wouldnt be any different I wouldnt think. It would just have to be a custom install with a molded piece right?

Discount Auto Sound in Virginia Beach did mine, but you're going to have to do some major modifications in the upper part of your S2000 dash to make yours happen. Keep in mind that the D1 is deeper than the simple screen most people do.

I love the AVIC-D1 - just awesome

That looks good. I loved that unit in my civic. I never had any problems with it. It was right on the money as far as directions and getting to your destination. You are right about the depth. I wonder if it could even be down in an s2000. Any more insight would be greatly appreciated

Anything can be done with enough time and money. Since I got my AVIC-D1 I have been spoiled by navigation -I don't know if I can live without it. Some other things I have to have in the car: XM Radio and my iPod controlled by the head unit - the D1 does all this. The only other consumer level setup that can do all this is Alpine's but it much more expesive because it doesn't give you that all-in-one setup.

If the D1 does not work out in the S, then you might have to start looking at an Alpine build.

I'm very much spoiled with navigation. If it doesnt fit then I have to get rid of it since I have nothing else to put it into and that way I'll have money to put towards maybe an alpine setup or some other nav setup. Or maybe even mods
