Anyone going to the Summit Point Drift Day at
I'm get in some sideways time before I close up the season. Anyone else going to be there?
Here's some more info:
"Crop Circle Scooch"
Date: Saturday Dec 13th
Where: The NEW triple skid pad AND jefferson circuit!
Summit Point Raceway, West Virginia.
Register - Call summitpoint # is on the website
driftnirvana.com- more too it but i cant post up if it comes up as a real html address. lol
Cost: $75!!!!
You will have to call the track and register and mention that You're registering for the $75 TSP event. Taking a look at the registration form will help you with what you have to tell them over the phone.
The number is 304-725-8444.
If you'd rather, print the registration and fax it to 304-728-7214.
They just didnt make a special $75 registration form, since Drift Nirvana events have never been other than $150 before.
[I called BSR, they told me you can preregister OR just arrive and drive. Price is confirmed at $75]

You can have fun on stock suspension, and borrow someone's all seasons.
They just opened up a new triple-circle skidpad, so if you spend all your time on there, it shouldn't wear your tires much at all.

I think it's soap on the course. The sand is from all the drifters falling off the track. They hadn't filled in the centers of the circles yet when we went so if you messed up, you fell into a 3 inch deep pit of mud. I almost got stuck. I took off my front bumper because I didn't want to destroy it in case I messed up.
The new triple skid pad is pretty nice, like Driftland Sugo or Ebisu in Japan.

It's like, the Top Gun of tracks they learn drifting on. So it's nice to have something similar here.
This guy has become really good but he was driving kinda crazy.
That's David, David's car, and JK (in a skirt as usual). It was really really COLD.
