Default Anyone ever use this place for Polishing?

http://baltimorechrome.com/

I sent a manifold to them 2 weeks ago to get polished. They called me a day later and took payment. They told me they would send it back last Friday and I havent been able to get in touch with them since.

Anyone ever use their services or know where the place is? Im kind of worried they closed down.

Mike, care to share the address and cost for a manifold?

I spent a number of hours grinding off the orange peel texture on a spare manifold I have, but it still needs a lot of work as well as a good polish. I just can't afford the time and energy to finish it up, I'd like to let someone else take over for me...

I called them. They had some machine problems and were down last week. They are up and running and will fedex it back to you within a day or two. If you have questions call: (410) 539-4111 and ask for Bob.

So to clarify, they have your part and the shop did not close out.

Nah, I've never even heard of them before. I just know it can be frustrating when waiting for a part. Thought I'd see if I could help any. They answered the phone on my first shot and Bob was very friendly and helpful. I try to help out when I can.

Thanks guys.

Wish they would have left a message saying that or called there customers that had parts there still. Funny I called twice a day all last week and left messages and even called today and no one ever picked up or called back still. I heard the message now. Plus their email doesnt work.

Dan,

The company I used to polished and chromed all my billet aluminum part was:

Advanced Plating and Powder Coating
1425 Cowan CT.
Nashville, TN 37207
1-800-588-6686
Advanced Plating

I had to send them the parts and they sent me a price once they looked the parts over. Rick Hesel and I had all ours parts done at the same time. I think the intake was about $500.00 to polish and chrome. They are not cheap., but they do very good quality work. I found them in a Hot Rod magazine and they were featured on the Speed Channel.
