great weekend! who all was in group 3? obviously gfacter was the yellow s... anyone else? john, congrats on the race.

<--- meagerly powered white civic hatch. i got 38mpg on the way to and from the track, though!

pics (most are of my friend racing, but i got a few other people. no school groups): http://iammike.org/gallery/?dir=track_even...A_at_Shenandoah
I was in Group 3 in wifey's STI.

John- I think I'll pick up an old Miata. Drop in the spec suspension, RA-1 on OEM wheels, the spec cage, some track pads and I should be set for under $7k. Next season (2007), I could complete the spec conversion and get my license. A salvaged S2000 would be nice though..... actually, since your car is now all busted up maybe it's no good and you want to get rid of it?

White Civic with a cage? Blue tape numbers. You get around very well with that car.

Silver STI. There were two Silver STIs:

1) Tim with suspension, swaybars, camber plates, lots of negative camber, fast driver

2) me with completely stock STI (except XP8 pads), no neg. camber at all, driver who likes to overcook corner entry

Nice Pics, JFO there are some good ones from your race, with you right on the bumper of the no 11 white Civic.

They must have been taken before the attempted punt...

nice hand work george.

I like to shuffle the wheel more than most people.... some people practically glue their hands at 10-2 (or wherever) and twist their arms all up on tight turns.... Mariam taught me to shuffle, so damnit I shuffle.

O ya... I am pretty sure that is Mike....

I don't consciously shuffle I just do it, on this track you would wind yourself up in knots at 10 and 2

Mike, the most major changes are the gear set (I now think I have 4.77 gears, I was supposed to have 4.56 gears, John and I were comparing notes he was always in 4th gear as I was carrying 5th and he had faster lap times.

KW coilovers (corner weighted) somewhat aggressive alignment, Comptech Adj front sway bar, Toyo RA1's and race pads. Plus a bunch of other stuff that doesn't really make the car faster.
