All,

I've heard they are not really that great anymore... mostly because they take forever to do a wheel?
Is there any other alternative other than drive up there and wait like a month before I get it back?
how does time factor into quality?

Ye Olde Wheel Shop doesn't powder coat - or at least they didn't in March when I was researching this.

I can tell you not to use Pro Imports in Rockville MD. I had a rough experience with them.

i mispoke. i don't say they are that great (in terms of quality) but i just hear complaints that they'd let a wheel just sit there forever due to backlog and 'complaints' are what lead to my statement of 'all that great anymore'.

that said, i have 2 18" Work S1's 3pc rims that has minor curb rash that i need to get fixed.

i also have 20" Sevas R55 in chrome (which i believe is also a 3pc) where chrome on 1 rear wheel is peeling off - this is terrible because the wheels were basically brand new (but Sevas are out of business).

My question is, can Ye Olde Wheel Shop even
1. fix the Work S1s because they are 3pc?
2. fix the Sevas R55's because they are 3pc?
3. or if they do, can they redo the chrome to fix where it has peeled.

if Ye Olde Wheel Shop can NOT do this, where can i go to get it done and how much am i looking to spend?

i know they do all kinds of wheels. my volks are 2 pc and they didn't have a problem doing them. i am getting them back in like two weeks and they look AMAZING. the kid Danny is not very personable, but he is a decent guy and their shop does amazing work. just give them a call and see if they can do the work you are looking for. i had my wheels:

1. fixed, 3 were bent
2. ALL 4 powdercoated into phantom edition volks (gunmetal face w black lip and time attack stripe)
3. 4 tires mounted
for like, a little over $700. call them.
