I'll probably put it up for sale after I:

1. Finish motor work (this week)
2. Buy a seat (December or sooner)
3. Replace all suspension components (next weekish)

in the track car, then

4. Get through Christmas

In simple terms: sometime in 2006.

That would be an excellent camera... unfortunately I need it pretty soon. Whatever I decide on, I will likely overnight it...

Was looking for more compactness over features. The S80 seems to have the most features such a small thing could possibly have, so that's why I was leaning on it. It's also fairly important to me for now that it uses SD over the Memory Sticks ( Dylan). An SD card would double as a useful transfer medium, since my monitor, laptop and camera would all be using the same card.

Heh, maybe I'll be interested in yours anyway for more serious shooting. When are you selling it?
don't hate on sony. hahaha.. they'll rule the world in electronics one day..

I don't dislike Sony - I actually am more PS2-centered than anything else. They make many fine products.

I just hate on their music division. Of course, I hate every music division.

Yeah - but the fact that it even happened annoys the hell out of me. I am more hateful of the music industry in general, for implementing so many draconian measures that don't work.

What the stupid execs just don't understand is that the people who are savvy enough to pirate things will ALWAYS find a way to circumvent any protection. All they are doing is pissing off legitimate customers by making things not work.

Nothing is worse than the feeling when you PAY for something and it doesn't work because they think you might be a pirate.

Reminds me of an asshat manager at Chipotle the other day. He was asking everyone who got a small cup for a water not to use it for sodas. I'm like, dishonest people will do it anyway, and honest people will just get pissed at you for thinking that you would steal from them. What a dumb thing to say.

In any thread I start, anyone can whore or go off-topic, I don't care.

The music industry would be better off spending their "protection" money on research for the newest media, but they're too dumb to do that so they'll all go under one day. The new record labels of the future will be Apple, Music Match, Napster (isn't that funny ) or many of the bigger bands will just fund their own stuff - as more and more media moves to digital.

It is funny what technological/economical revolutions do to the world. At first it was individual based retail (mom & pop stores) that lost out to big department stores, and in some cases today the big companies are losing out to small business. I love it!.......until it effects my business.

Suckers.

We go to the one in Greenbelt for lunch sometimes. The wait is usually less than 10 minutes.
