That bugs my dad too whenever he visits. I actually wanted to paint and put down the epoxy garage floor, but who has time for that

Thanks guys for the good wishes.

So far their insurance hasn't claimed liability yet, but I expect they will today. I went for the estimate this morning. $2,600.

Turned left in front of you? That's an argument for DRLs. With a car as low and invisibly gray as your S and mine, daytime lights help a lot. Before motorcycles started to have DRLs, they suffered a lot of accidents from people turning left in front of them.

I have the parts for a DRL conversion and need to put them in so I don't wear out those expensive HIDs.

It was nighttime. There was also a wall of traffic in the left lane. She just turned by faith.

Evan,

That does suck.

Just in case it is needed have the body shop estimate cover the cost of "clearing the corners" (overspraying the adjoining body panels).

Also, find a shop that has either a PPG or a Sickens certified paint man. These two manufacturers are the best bet for matching the paint.

Good luck.

Good advice! Thanks! I'll ask the body shop on Monday. I already told them that they need to refund me for my front plate bracket.

Evan you can have my amber diffusers if you can't work out anything with the cleared ones.
