I just got the new rotors today, straight from EBC (but that is another story), they a gold zinc plated... really cool looking, they are gold colored). Totally different look from what RM advertised, they are exactly the same castings. The brake distributor was really cool, I was surprised that RM

Thread resurrected . I'm going to be upgrading my brakes for the June 20th FATT event

Laz...if your radar is on, I'd like to see if you and I could get together to install these puppies. They should arrive ~ June 10th or so. That should give me time to properly seat them before the event .

Uuummm. . .and what about me?

I've wanted to do this for quite awhile. 'Course, I'll be using the "PowerSlot" rotors from TireRack. Pretty sure they could/would arrive in time.

Thoughts on making this work as an install "tech day/night?"

Raul,
how about I drive up to your place and we do both at the same time? You gotta pay for my food and tolls, but it will be worth it....I'm serious (not about the tolls...just the food)

Definitely a *most impressive* way to install something that saves your life .

As far as a "tech day/night"...I'm not adverse to it. However, my own brake install will likely be out of the picture. Only weekend day I'd have available between when they arrive and when they need to be in full us (aka FATT) would be June 15th...but that's Father's Day . Gotta give my dad props on that day. So I'm expecting I'll do my brake job some weekday evening between when I receive the brakes and June 19th (when I drive out to Summit Point area).

Let's look to set a date though for an install project for you and Steve (and maybe others)....should take ~ 2-3 hours per car .
