I trailered my car to Ganley in Cleveland to get my 4.77's put in last week....... rather than take the risk, I just paid the gas $ and wasted 2 days of vacation.

I think they charged me ~ $500 in total labor which was $350 for the actual ring and pinion swap and another $150 for the removing and reinstalling of the actual rearend. But they have done tons of them so they replaced the proper bearings and seals, etc.......... now that the gears are $300.00 i was ok paying the extra $ to have them do it.

No one near Harrisburg, PA would even attempt it......

sounds good. I think it's worth simply removing and diff and mailing to Ganley
