Default 4.57 gear install - mechanic needed...

I'm planning on buying Ricks 4.57 gears, but would like to know first if anyone can recommend a mechanic to install them in Maryland...

Thanks!

There's no place anyone trusts? Does any Mid-A folks have these gears or the 4.77's?

Yep, I got the Rick's 4.57's.

I don't think you wanna drive to SOVA to get 'em installed though

Good Luck!!

You may want to check with Jon Hope at Wallace Automotive on research road in richmond (Midlothian) VA. He does all my work for me, haven't asked him about gears yet though

I know Tenblade had his done by Ganley Honda in Cleveland. I believe Rick Hesel also had Ganley work on his ride.

Call my friend Ben Shaffer @ 301-854-6252

He owns a Honda repair shop near Mt Airy MD, he also has built and raced several SCCA championship winning Hondas.

He's gonna do my gear set, once I get it

George

has Ben Shaffer done any S2000 gear installs in the past? I'm also looking for someone to install my 4.57 gear and comptech housing.

I am not sure, Call him up.

I know he has put in many differentials in various FWD race cars.
