okay so my differential kinda shat out on me, something with pinion, I'm not educated in this. So i was thinking since oem 4.10 assembly is going to be EXPENSIVE i was thinking bout science of speed 4.44. This is my daily so i dont want 4.77.

opinions? comments?!
If you're trying to save money, just get a complete used OEM diff.

I've never gotten exact prices, but I bet anything either from puddy, or parts ordered somewhere else and requiring asembly, will end up costing a lot more than a used OEM diff would.

If you're just seeing this as a convenient time to upgrade, that's a different story

How much do you think a complete OEM diff is going to cost you? Aren't they like $600 for a good used one?

I'm only saying it because you stated your reason for wanting 4.44's is because you think OEM will be more expensive. No way any aftermarket diff will be cheaper than used OEM.

Not sure yet(has to wait to see what's what), but my 4.57 diff- just redone by Ben, aka S2KPUDDYDAD, this summer- may be for sale soon.

It's not a drastic difference like going to 4.77's but definatly noticable. If your looking to save some money I would look for a used one first.

Throw in different gears for free, but the installation of the diff is going to be the expensive part? Changing gears isn't simple labor

Good luck with whatever you end up doing.

PuddyDad is the way to go.

I love my Stage 2 4.44 Diff

If this one can hold up to my driving its damn near bullet-proof lol

Got mine from hardtopguy about 2 years ago and I love em. Good acceleration while keeping rpms low enough for highway cruising.
I can vouch for this.. Even though he has an ap2 motor, his car def feels supercharged
