Steve, whatever color you decide (and I think it should be YOUR decision, not ours) you need to be good and SURE the body parts on there now are gonna be the ones you keep for a while. We all know how often you like to switch things up.

Take some time and try to think of ANYTHING you might want to change before it gets sprayed. If you decide you want to keep it as is for a while, go for it. If not, hold off until you've got everything you want.

Another note: I'd think twice about having the rears molded in. It rarely looks right, especially if nothing else is molded in.

My two cents

good points dave. This is my final set-up. When all things are considered, I am probably going to stay wil Silverstone....there's just more involved i.e. hardtop/Veilside cover and the inside of the engine bay wouldn't be done( just the trim that is visable when the hood is popped).

Who is Company B? I'm sorry to hear about Company A - they should get things right for free

Maybe Steve should force Company A to pay Company B to do the job right

BTW, while I said "one-off" color, I meant to suggest unique to S2000. Steve's Moonrock consideration is a valid color choice out there for other production vehicles...and should therefore be a solid choice if he goes that way.

Steve, the only thing I would add is your avatar is one handsome dude... Don't change a thing...

Seriously, I would like to say that I was a real hands_ _ __...okay j/k Staying with the silverstone is your best choice, if the door jams, trunk, and the under the hood painted parts all don't get painted then it will look like crap. So the it will be much cheaper and easier to stay the same color.

Just my two cents worth here, but damn I was a good looking guy... hehehehehe

Here's the deal: Company A didn't say that they wouldn't fix what they had already painted, but in the process of talking with them two things became clear (1) they weren't exicited about having to do the work again and thought I was being picky i.e. they stated "the color is barely off" and "We might be able to fix it" (2) in order to get it right, the car would have to be completly repainted. Company A kept saying "well you can blend it to hear (pointing to the middle of the fender), and still run into problems...[translated] were not going to get it perfect, so don't expect that. I've had peices painted before, and the blend was totally perfect. So, it can be done, but the question is can Company A do it. Maybe if they had less on their plate, they could. But, I don't think they are used to this type of work i.e. smaller jobs with quicker turn around and little customer follow-up.
