2nd Annual Skyline Meet/Drive

That's always a problem. I got some video out of the drive but most of it's boringly repetitious. Judicious editing is your friend . (PS: mice meeting you Tom and Vanessa. Hope to see you again on another drive. You might check out the upcoming Dragon event in April. 11 Miles and 318 curves keeps you really busy).

Everyone,
Thank you for your time. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it's hard to find free time for most people and I really appreciate everyone giving up some time to come out with the rest of us to enjoy our cars, some beautiful weather and even a couple of corners here and there.
I also can't thank everyone enough for the teamwork. It was for a lack of a better word...amazing. I saw two guys lock their keys in their cars and with the help of others (including a friendly park ranger)...it wasn't a big deal at all. We had a dead battery in one car and people helped with jumper cables. We had another car with starting issues and an oil cap that wanted to play hide and seek and everyone was very helpful and patient. We also had members helping random strangers with tire pressure problems. This really gives a solid reason to want to do this again in the future.
Thank you for your generous donations. We hit the $200 mark. It was close, but we did make it and it is appreciated. Just as a reminder, that money was to pay for the permit so we could drive together as a group on skyline drive. It was not for me.
Thank you to those of you who took videos and pictures. The rest of us will enjoy them greatly as we change our backgrounds on our computers or show our coworkers, friends and family.
All of you helped make this a success and I truly appreciate it.
I've made several notes on things to change for next years run and hope to see all of you there. If you have questions, suggestions or feedback please don't hesitate to PM me. I'm open to your ideas.

Picture story time!
Our host
And then I stumbled upon some of my handy work, so I took a moment to admire it. Hopefully it served you well Ed!
Big wings make trolling more fun says NA-Tuned
Booooooooost
Auto lock strikes again!
Because one isn't enough....
This is the engine those gauges belong to
And this is that engine's evil brother
These two are the attention whores, damn good job at it too!
I think we can all relate to this...
You know you're doing it right when you have a 1/4 mile worth of S2000's
Nala, she'll be back later...
A lady bug stopped to admire my paint job while we charged up a battery
Aural fascinations were created here, or is this some sort of weird symbolism? Wait, I'm confused...

Here is a quick video from the road leading up to the Skyline Drive entrance, "Red Barchetta" came on at the right time, easily one of my top 5 favorite driving songs.

I only have a few pictures, since my camera broke down early in the trip, but I did quickly assemble what video I had (mostly iPhone footage) in iMovie tonight. No fancy stuff here, I don’t have Final Cut at home.

Should be up in another hour or so.
