The route to skyline drive:
Interactive map: http://g.co/maps/2nrqt This route starts with a nice easy cruise down 66 west. After exiting from interstate 66 the speed limit will drop to 45mph and the road will take you up and down some blind hills and slowly introduce you to some mild twists. The corners will become sharper and more challenging as we get closer to the skyline drive entrance. This route also includes 3 one way bridges and unmarked lanes. Ignorance on this route could endanger yourself and others and will NOT be tolerated. If we do not get stuck behind others....great let's enjoy some curves. If we get stuck behind traffic....great lets enjoy the views and a nice drive together. I have done this route a lot of times so do not hesitate to ask questions.
Things to remember:
* This is for s2000s only
* Reliable cars only
* Know your limits and your car's
* Stay in your lane at all times
* Headlights on at all times
* Stay a safe distance from the car in front of you
* NO passing on the back roads even in the legal zones. We should stay together.
* Temps will drop 5-10 degrees from beginning of drive to top of skyline drive
* Bring radios if you have them. Due to wind noise an ear piece might help as well, but that might be illegal?

In, thanks for organizing again Mike. I got a kick out of the 'reliable cars only' line, which ACTUALLY reads: Don't bring your newly built turbo, only to have it break down in the middle of nowhere with most of the group out of range for radio contact...
Good times.
