How do you know the bearing is bad? Try re-torquing the bearings first before replacing them, I've seen quite a number of people that have replaced their bearings even though the only thing that it needed is re-torquing. Plus 34k does not sound like much.
Oh, and I'd replace the hubs as well, regardless... S2000 service manual has specs on diameter tolerance for the hub, look it up. If it is within specs and no deep scratches/gouges are present it'll be safe to re-use it.

Sounds like a bearing. I have a 20-ton press and all the adapters if you need to use it. If it goes away when you turn left, it probably is a left side, rear bearing.

Re-torque, if that doesn't help, use Pete's press
You know, my race pads were squeaking like crazy, only after I put the street pads back in I realized that one of the noises I thought could be a bad bearing was actually pads...
Oh, and bad bearings don't squeak, they hum....usually

Do the test: get the car on the road and swerve back and forth (just aggressively enough for some moderate weight transfer)
Listen for the noise, and see when is it the loudest, and what side is loaded at the time.
depress the brake a little as well to get the pads dragging (this way you'll make sure it is not your pads for sure)

Brake pressure has no effect on the noise.

One of the problems with not replacing the hubs is getting the knuckle apart and then finding a bad hub and then having to wait for the part. It's also kind of a pain to cut the old bearing face off without damaging the hub. You could buy one hub and two bearings then do one wheel and try to reuse the hub. It's a good idea to have a spare hub and bearing anyway. It would have made my life so much easier if I had a spare for the SCCA comp school where we were lucky enough to scrounge everything needed so Oleg could do the hub and bearing swap.

Anyone want to do the enduro karting Saturday evening? Thinking about making a team.
