The awesome thing with the tool trucks is they let you make payments. So instead of spending that much money up front, you can just have a "running line of credit" pretty much that allows you to make payments. Def. nice considering how expensive some of the stuff is.

Nice to meet you. My name is James. The reason why I didn't post much last year is because my car was down but I plan on making up the lost time this season. But the gun costs me 40 bucks a week lol I'm a mechanic so I have an account with my snap-on dealer. But the gun costs around $480. And has 600ft/lbs of tq. Not to sure what you mean but I think you're talking about what holds the socket on the gun it's a ring. But yes in my opinion snap-on is one of the best tool manufactures if I see you at the track you can give it a go.
This is the ring
And the pin
Sorry for the big pictures. The ring is supposed to make for faster and easier socket changes, but it definitely takes a lot of wiggling and pushing to get them on there! The Milwaukee site said something about allowing for one-handed socket changes, but it definitely takes me both hands.
but yeah the thing is I've had a $40/week payment for a long time. being a mechanic I always need tools. and most pro. tools are not cheap I have well over 30k worth of tools and thats low balling. and I dont know about you but I dont have that much lying around lol. so us mechanics can pay tools off interest free and get the stuff we need to service cars while still feeding our mouths and pay for our gas lol.
so i owed my tool man 89 bucks that I dropped from 300 bucks getting random stuff. all while paying $40/week so then I decided I wanted the cordless impact while it was on sale from like $540 to $480 asked if it would change my weekly payment(which I factor in when planing for bills every month) and he said no. so I walked off the truck with it lol(didn't steal it just thought I wouldn't bore you all with the details with the sale) but I usually pay more when I have it so it should be paid off in a month or so.

. $40 bucks a week?? That adds up quick...within 3 months you could own one at that rate lol.

but thats the idea kevin I pay $40/week to pay it off I own the gun tho its like rent-a-center without the stupid contracts and stupid interest rates dont we wish we could get car parts like this!!! lol so whats the first event that you plan on going to this year?

Ohhh I thought it was similar to a car lease where you are making big payments and end the end don't own anything Now it makes more sense. That is a good deal for mechanics by trade. Win win for the tool companies and the mechanics.
I am not positive, but maybe not till the Summit one in April. See for me, I am a newb to this still so I would rather stick to one track till I get a little more familiar with the driving technique. But April seems so far... You?

havent decided yet. I wanna hit up the first track day but at the same time I got a lot of money I need to spend in tires and rims. I just bought blizzak ws70's for 600 bucks so I can do ice racing in new york (so i guess technically next month lol). I'm gonna need to buy a set of rims for street tires and also v710's for the track way tooo much money in the beginning of spring!!!!
