Hey Ron! I would love to come up but my gf birthday is this weekend... I am always not there for her during weekends because of working on cars and stuff, so if I'll do the same for her bday weekend I'm pretty sure she'll be upset.

BTW, if you going to have the car up on the lift in the shop, check all of the suspension bolts. It is relatively easy and might direct you to the source of the noise.
Cool man. I know you would come and help if you can. Looks like me and your GF are born on the same day or in the same week.

Thanks for the tip.
April 8th!!!! I would help but I got work on Saturday then heading to Phil's to bleed his brake fluid and relocate his bumper tab

I need help just for a good company actually for I can do all the brake/clutch fluid flushing (thanks Harbor Freight), rotors and pads changes. It just makes it so much more fun to do all these with somebody who knows what I'm doing cuz I may not.
Ron, I'll be in Woodbridge at my parent's garage next weekend. Paintball with Church Saturday and Easter Sunday this weekend...
Awesome, Aaron. Thanks for the invite. I might hit you up next weekend.

Sorry, I'm not an aerodynamicist, but that sounds like they will need some IT support.

I claimed age.

I'm so preoccupied getting the car ready, I forgot it's next week already.

Anyway they let us go home early at work today for good Friday celebration so I took advantage of it and went to Quantico hobby shop. All brake works are done, new pads, new rotors, flushed and replenished all brake fluids. Quantico have the brake fluid sucking machine so the flushing and bleeding was a breeze. I love ceramic Akebono brake pads, they are in all my cars. The brake feels so smooth and bites realy strong, no more on-off brake feel and the brake dust should stop showing in my wheels.

Retighten up all the springs and adjusted the rear hight a bit. Suspensions feels more solid now than before. A squeal of joy unexpectedly blurted out of my mouth while driving home! The 4 hours of hard work put into the car today just banished by just the short drive in the freeway and byways. The engine and pffsshh... sounds of the turbo is like a Bohemian Rhapsody to me.

There is only one clunking sound left and I have pin-pointed it to the right rear half shaft. The half shaft that is crossed threaded and I think when I broke the 1/2" breaker bar while trying to loosen it made it worse. There is a lot of shaft movement from left to right and there is no half shaft spacer on it while lowered for a while so I believe the spider bearings are worn out. It will be a project for summer, I will enjoy driving the car for a while.

I'm ready to slay the dragon!

Great to hear that you are getting the car ready, Ron!
I've managed to get some work done on the s2k as well.
The car is officially in it's "street mode"! I have installed some used OEM pads instead of my race ones, OEM AP2V2 rims and all season tires, OEM seats coupled with harddog bulkhead replacement bar for seat belt retractors. Fresh oil, some other random bits and pieces... The car now officially handles and stops like s4!t...but it is drivable. Sitting in the OEM seats feels so weird now I seat a lot higher in the OEM seats now, to the point where it is actually uncomfortable
