What can you guys reccomend for a lightweight racing battery? I need to pick one up, my oem one died :/
I'm looking at this one to try maybe?

http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail.jsp?ID=24 - cheap
http://www.kronospark.com/ - light
Check out the Deka ones. Brailles are just rebadged Dekas
Is it still suggested not to use these for daily drivers? Or has the tech improved?

Oleg - Look at the Dekas. I bought one (about 15 lbs) and its fine. It really is the same thing as a braille and a lot cheaper.

I got the next larger size I think its ext20 or something. the smaller one would be fine, but would probably die quick if you don't keep it on a charger.

Got the alignment done as suggested by George. Now the car drives like dream! It's amazing how much alignment changes when changing suspensions. And guess who did an excellent job in aligning the car to my own specs? David! This guy has a magic hands in cars, I swear! He uses their brand spanking new state of the art alignment system with wireless remote interface. He can place the remote interface anywhere in front of him while he makes fine adjustments. He can also give good deal, just to talk to him.

I highly recommend David to anybody who wants to have a custom alignment done on their S or any car model. Oh, and he did not pay me to say that.

Thanks again, David.

A Hoosier Wet 245 is wider than a street tire 255 when stacked 4 high.

Why the aftermarket radiator?
Touche, true...I have heard that Hoosiers tend to run wide.

I just got it because it was an inexpensive upgrade and theoretically should keep the water temps cooler. It is thicker and the core is larger than OEM, and as mentioned is a ton lighter but I didn't measure the offset of weight from the switch.
If I remember correctly you have KW v3, which were 7-9lbs lighter per corner than the OEM suspension.

Not a problem, Ron. Hopefully you didn't get in too much trouble getting home later. Glad that it is handling as nice as Beepbeep did!

Got home just on time. The handling is getting close to the way Beepbeep was, just a few more sorting out and she should be easier to handle.
