Rob, I went with a Setrab oil cooler, Mocal sandwich plate with integrated thermostat, and 10AN fittings and lines. I'll try to photograph the install in case you want to use it as a how to on your site.
Do you mind telling where you sourced your parts, and a list of parts/fittings required for the installation? Also, where are you mounting it, and did you make a custom bracket or buy a Setrab one?

but the turbo wont happen till the end of this year so I'm gonna get some good track time without turbo this year and make my decision during fall-winter
You may also find that you'd rather just spend the money on tires/pads/seat time.
You know it!! the most important thing to me is being behind the wheel it's my happy place.

If I could find someone to take me up on the HT deal I've got posted I think I could finally get the rest of the way I need to be for the car to be truly track ready. As much as I love my HT it seems like the smartest move if I really want to get seat time. It'll take me quite a while before a HT actually becomes a benefit over the soft top.

Happy to, as it took me hours to figure it all out. And that was with someone elses writeup. Give me a few days.

if I can kill them in corner but get pulled away from the the straits it'll be turbo time.

either way I can't wait to have some healthy competition with some of you!!!
That's why my car is now boosted. I was tired of having to ride behind someone for half a session before they would let off and let my "slower" car by. I am sure I will still have the same problem but with faster cars now.... But atleast I get to feel boost though!
Dave I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to share a pic of your car with the fellow members! Dave is a true grassroots motorsports kind of guy, he spent the better course of a year saving for and wrenching on this turbo kit, custom fabbing a lot of things, and in the end built himself a fun little machine...I was fortunate enough to go with him on a couple 2nd gear pulls while he was working on tuning it, and at only 5psi it is a rush. I am always in awe at his mechanical ability being at such a young age..his only fault as a mechanic is he's too honest! Without further adieu...

I think you said the Mocal only has one sensor port though right? I have a temp and pressure sensor in my sandwich plate.

I don't think it has any sensor ports as it gives them up for the thermostat.

David, I want a ride when you turn the boost up higher. 25psi should be sufficient.
